Yesterday was the first cold day that I experienced in full force this season. I have been so busy the past couple weeks and haven’t had much time to paint, so I was determined to do so yesterday. Unfortunately there is no electricity in the barn where I paint. There is nothing like painting with gloves on. Shout out to my mom, the jimmy made the difference.

My favorite time is spent with friends in laughter. I love looking at good art. I love making art. I consider myself an optimist. Although I haven't mastered it, I like to think I look for beauty in ordinary life. I want to breathe deep, laugh hard, and live well. And what can I say, I try not to take myself too seriously.
